B: Who is in your family?
Emily (7), Rhys (4), Dustin (husband), Winnie (dog) and me.
B: What’s your favourite thing to do as a family?
When we're not in isolation we love to head to the Gold Coast for a beach day - Em and Dusty surf while Rhys and I build sand-forts. That's something I really miss.
In the meantime, we're spending a lot of time bike-riding around our local streets and watching movies together.
B: What’s the best thing about being a mum?
I love always having a little someone to hang out with - you can never be lonely!
Although talk to me after a few more weeks of isolation and I may have a different answer.
B: And the hardest?
It's easy for the mum-guilt fairy to creep up on you when you're spending too much time at work. I try not to let it bother me too much and do my best to balance work and family-life. But it's a constant battle.
B: What’s a ‘mum essential’ you always have in your bag?
My kids are bigger now so my handbag is (almost) 100% mine again! The snacks and baby wipes have been replaced by various shades of nude lipsticks, hair pins and a large tube of hand sanitiser.
B: Which is your favourite bag in the Bahru collection?
I love the Singapore Leather Crossbody Bag in Caramel - this size is perfect for travelling and running around with various mum-duties.
