Mama Muse: Aimee from Land & Sand
Aimee from Land & Sand is our latest mama on the Mama Muse blog. Her beach umbrellas and folding chairs are absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to be out of #iso so I can enjoy mine again!
B: Who is in your family?
My Fiance Brad, my son Arlo 3 and my little girl Capri 18 months.
B: What’s your favourite thing to do as a family?
Our late arvo walks on the beach when the light is so dreamy. We have this little ritual of howling to the moon like a pack of wolves when it comes out! We also love to push both our couches together to make one big bed where we watch a movie together on a Friday night. Oh and picnics in the front yard! It's the little things.
B: What’s the best thing about being a mum?
Those moments when you just sit back and think "I can't believe I made that". I love to watch them play, I try to be present and notice the way the light hits their hair, their dimples, their lips.
B: And the hardest?
That they are growing up so quickly and I can't press pause on that. The feeling that I am missing out at times while working - the juggle.
B: What’s a ‘mum essential’ you always have in your bag?
Plenty of water and snacks, never too many snacks!
B: Which is your favourite bag in the Bahru collection?
I don't like lugging too much else around on top of the mum bag so I love the Mini Florence Leather Crossbody Wallet in Caramel. It's enough to fit my clutch-wallet, sunnies and phone. It has a handy slip in pocket at the front which means my phone is always easy to get to as I use it so much for work. It also matches my sandals which is a bonus - not much matches these days being a busy mum!
