A few things bringing me a little bit of lightness at the moment.
Wow - what a week. I hope wherever you are and whatever your situation, you are managing to adapt to this “new normal”. In our house, I think the kids have certainly adapted better than us!
In an effort to look on the bright side here are a couple of things you might like….
Art by Melissa Boughey. I discovered Melissa’s paintings on a trip to Denmark (WA) a few years ago and as it happened to be my birthday and our wedding anniversary only one day apart we purchased this beautiful abstract above. You can check out Melissa on Instagram here to see more.
Late last year a friend told me about Rebecca Sparrow for her tips on fabulous Christmas pressies for kids. I signed up to her email newsletter which is full of great resources and last week she sent an awesome one about how to keep kids entertained at home - we have used a few of her tips already in this house!
I loved the book A Gentleman in Moscow by Amor Towles which is a story about a real character experiencing his own type of confinement.
We've been seeing a great response to our 'tag a healthcare worker' competition on Instagram! If you know someone working on the front line, head on over to our Instagram and tag them for a chance to win a Bahru bag, and to say thank you for everything they are doing right now.
Has anyone else been busy cleaning out cupboards and sorting out the pantry? I haven’t managed to fit this in yet as we’ve started on the sheds on the farm first but I’m going to try and get stuck into this next week. Send inspiration please!
