I can't quite remember how I discovered Millwoods but I LOVE my shoes! Jane Robertson is the founder & designer of Millwoods and she manages to juggle three little kids, farmlife and running a business from country NSW (which is also now in lockdown...)
Read on to get to know more about Jane.
Who are you and what do you do?
I am Jane, the owner and designer at Millwoods. Together with my husband we have 3 very vibrant children who love to run rings around me. We live on a small farm just outside Coolamon, NSW and I am that terrible farm owner who has almost no idea what goes on outside the 'house paddock' LOL
What is the most beautiful thing you own?
You know I think this is a ring that my Dad gave me. He had a pair of my great uncles cufflinks that weren't being worn so he had them made into signet rings for my Mum, sister and I. Each one has our family crest on it. It's not beautiful but it means so much to me. The inscription keeps me going on the tough days. 'In Belief and hardwork we trust'
What is the most practical thing you own?
Probably my Klean Kanteen Drink bottle and travel mug. Often being (well almost living) in my car the two tend to always be by my side.
What must you have in your bag before you leave home?
Sunglasses and lipbalm. Without each my day can go into a downward spiral quickly.
Which travel destination is next on your bucket list (when we can travel)?
This is a tough one as I haven't done much travelling. I think it might be Italy. I would love to go for 6-12 months and really immerse myself into the culture.
What products or brands are you loving at the moment - fashion, homewares or beauty?
Honestly I am living under a rock at the moment. I try really hard to support smaller businesses and do what I can to showcase what so many awesome regional brands are doing.
What are you reading, watching or listening to?
Right now I am reading Sally Hepworths Latest book, The Family Next Door, I am loving it.
Which bag would you reach for - the classic neutrals or the statement metallic gold or silver?
I am a classic Neutrals gal!
Which is your favourite bag from the Bahru collection and why?
My Favourite is the Paris in Army, I love the colour and size. I can fit so much in it I can barely lift it.
